BCS-SCF Life-Time Member Status is awarded in recognition of previous specialty certification (or recognition prior to January 1, 2014) in stuttering, cluttering, and fluency disorders. Once an application has been submitted, it is reviewed, and acceptance is based upon the Standards for BCS-SCF Life-Time Member Status. Please see details below regarding application and maintenance, as well as pages 22–23 of the Standards and Procedures Manual .
Life-Time members are kept informed of current ABSCF happenings and included on all lists of BCS-SCF. Life-Time member status indicates to consumers that the specialist has reached a significant milestone in years of practice. Life-Time specialists are natural promoters of specialty certification.
