Dr. Karin Wexler is an internationally recognized expert on stuttering and other fluency disorders. At Columbia University’s Teachers College, Dr. Wexler teaches the graduate course on stuttering and other fluency disorders. She is Adjunct Professor at TC since 1985 and is Columbia University's expert on stuttering and other fluency disorders. Dr. Wexler has a Ph.D. in Speech Pathology from Columbia University, focused specifically on stuttering and fluency development. Dr. Wexler's private practice is focused exclusively on children and adults who stutter or have other fluency disorders. She sees clients in Westchester County, NY, and in Manhattan. Dr. Wexler provides evaluations with establishment of prognosis based on differential diagnosis and individual risk factors; Client-Centric Therapy for all ages; and prevention of fluency disorders. The therapy is designed entirely with you, for you, drawing on broad academic as well as clinical expertise.
