Dr. Karin Wexler is a world-renowned expert on stuttering and other fluency disorders. At Columbia University’s Teachers College, Dr. Wexler heads a fluency evaluation and therapy program and stuttering clinic and also teaches the graduate courses on stuttering and other fluency disorders. She is Adjunct Professor at TC since 1985, where she Columbia University's expert on stuttering and other fluency disorders. Dr. Wexler has a Ph.D. in Speech Pathology from Columbia University, focused specifically on stuttering and fluency development. Dr. Wexler's private practice is focused exclusively on children and adults who stutter or have other fluency disorders. She sees clients in the New York City suburbs and at Teachers College, Columbia University. Dr. Wexler provides evaluations with establishment of prognosis based on differential diagnosis and individual risk factors; as well as Client-Centric Therapy for all ages and prevention of fluency disorders.
